The Rockwoods:
The Best of Surrey in Fleetwood

Seems like there’s just no stopping The Rockwoods.

Located in Surrey’s Fleetwood neighbourhood, this collection of three- and four-bedroom townhomes continues turning heads and winning hearts with its family-friendly floorplans, sophisticated finishings, and amazing value.

“The Rockwoods was Surrey’s best selling townhome development in 2014 for a reason,” says Peter Edmonds, Anthem’s director of marketing. “When people see these homes, they recognize the combination of value and quality and they make the decision to buy — it’s just that straightforward.”

Intelligent Design

Navjot and her husband, Sukhdeep, were two of the people who said “yes” to The Rockwoods. “We were renting in the area, so I walked by almost every day,” she says. “I knew I wanted to buy a home here as soon as I saw the first phase. I love the open concept living and the kitchen… oh my gosh, the kitchen is my dream come true. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a window over the sink, and so much cabinet space.” She laughs. “My parents live in a huge, four-bedroom house, and they don’t have this much storage in their kitchen.”

Navjot also fell in love with the size and efficiency of the master suite. “We’ve never had room for a king-sized bed before,” she admits. “And I’ve always wanted double sinks in my ensuite. There’s even a linen closet — a huge one — as well as the walk-in closet that’s like having two regular closets.”

Having a lower-floor den, she adds, was a bonus since it gives her husband a place for his home office. “And we could still use it as a guest room.”

Community Focus

Then there’s The Rockwoods’ 4,500-square-foot clubhouse. “It’s amazing how much this amenity gets used,” Peter says. Here’s just a hint: a Halloween pumpkin-carving contest for the kids, community barbeque/potlucks on the spacious outdoor lounging deck, birthday parties, and sports nights. Plus, on any given day, you’ll find fitness enthusiasts working out in the state-of-the- art gym — a sunny, open space with floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides.

“The Rockwoods is such a friendly, outgoing place to live,” Navjot says. “And with the elementary school just a block away, it will be perfect for when our daughter is a little older. We’re definitely planning to be here for a long time.”
