Castle Pines is located next to Castle Pines Village, home of the famed Castle Pines Golf and Country Clubs. Anthem purchased the undeveloped 212-acre Castle Pines site and proceeded with development. The development process involved the construction of public utilities and other services to the individual lots, construction of roads, curbs and gutters, and completion of landscaping. Anthem then sold the developed lots to builders in several phases during the development process between 1994 and 2000.
