Kevin Falcon hired by real estate developer

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Former BC finance minister Kevin Falcon has a new job with a real estate developer and private equity firm, Anthem Capital Corp., which is related to Anthem Properties.

He announced he is not seeking re-election after he lost the Liberal leadership race to Christy Clark.

The official starting date for his new job is May 16th, two days after the election, but Falcon is already on the job as a VP with Anthem.

“In 12 years of experience in government, working in a couple of major portfolios like transportation and finance, it did give me some great introductions to the financial markets, capital markets and business community generally,” says Falcon.

CEO Eric Carlson says Falcon will lead “the oversight and growth of Anthem Capital’s business portfolio” and “assist in raising [money] from institutional and individual investors.”
