Save On Meats – Office

Located at 43 West Hastings in the heart of Vancouver’s downtown eastside, the building known as ‘Save-on-Meats’ is a landmark with its iconic ‘flying pigs’ neon sign. The building was originally constructed in 1891 and has been home to the namesake diner since 1957. Anthem acquired this property in 2013, and made considerable renovations to restore the building to its brick and beam frame, creating space for three new office tenants in the 15,923 square feet above the 4,934 square feet of street front retail. The building with its recognizable sign has been a prominent structure in Vancouver for over 125 years.
